What is a mustard seed?
In Matthew 13:31-32 NASB2020 it says, "He presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a person took and sowed in his field; and this smaller than all the other seeds, but when it is fully grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and nest in its branches". During Jesus's time here on earth he often spoke in parables, which can be read all throughout the gospels, even the disciples question Jesus as to why he speaks that way. As I write this, I'm not theology expert, nor do I claim to be, I'm simply putting my analysis of these verses and how I apply it to my personal life. A mustard seed is a really small seed.
